As one of the undertakings of CNAO, Auditor Training Center has taken charge of planning, guiding, administering, implementing and serving nation-wide auditor education and training for the whole government auditing institutions (the Nanjing Audit Institute included). Its main duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1) Planning auditor education and training including academic education, follow-up education, on-the-job training, key auditor training, providing development programme for the Nanjing Audit Institute and preparing publication plan for audit teaching materials and other forms of annual plans. 2) Administering follow-up education and professional training such as adult academic education of auditors from government auditing institutions in TV university, evening university, correspondence university and class for postgraduate course, professional training of senior staff at and above division director level from headquarter, resident offices of CNAO and provincial audit institutions nationwide and key auditor training. 3) Administering the Nanjing Audit Institute in the fields such as common higher education and adult academic education. 4) Compiling, editing, revising and publishing key audit teaching materials for higher education, TV university and staff training. 5) Implementing and administering various forms of examinations for staff from China's government audit institutions. 6) Planing and implementing foreign intellectual resources recruitment; selecting and training talented auditors as well as maintaining international exchanges of world-advanced audit specialists. 7) Providing other logistics services such as management of air-ticket agency of CNAO, recording and publishing of audiovisual materials and other kinds of services. 8) Undertaking other assignments by CNAO.
