IT Center is responsible for the preparation of development program, technical norms, standards and management rules for the construction of an audit information system. Meanwhile, in collaboration with General Office of CNAO, IT Center shall devote to the construction of the audit information system, providing systemized integration of software and hardware and technical supports for the effective exploitation, utilization, operation, maintenance of audit information system. It shall also provide technical supports, assistance and service for the construction of the audit information system in CNAO's dispatched offices. IT Center shall be responsible for the draft of technical norms, standards and documents for the audit over computerized accounting system utilized by the audited bodies. It shall carry out the research on the application of computer technologies in audit institutions. It shall cooperate with CNAO's audit departments to develop and popularize CAATs, i.e. computer-assisted audit techniques as well as provide follow-up technical support and maintenance service. It shall also cooperate with CNAO's audit departments to test and assess the internal control of computerized accounting system utilized by the audited bodies. It shall be responsible for the solution of electric data conversion and other difficult computer technical problems. IT Center is also responsible for the appraisal and election of important achievements of computer technical application in audit institutions. It shall together with relevant departments to carry out the international cooperation and maintain friendly exchanges with other countries. It shall take charge of computer ABC "up to standard" qualification examination for junior auditors and computer technique medium and senior training for senior auditors. It shall be responsible for logistics service including routine affairs, financial management, assets and properties management and other rear-service.
